In a nod to nostalgia for Gen Xers and Millennials, the trailer for The Toxic Avenger has been released today.
While it may be hitting theatres for the first time, the movie first screened in 2023 at Fantastic Fest and is a remake of the 1984 movie of the same name.
There was also a cartoon called The Toxic Crusaders, which was loosely based on the 1984 movie which only lasted one season.
Starring Peter Dinklage, Kevin Bacon, and Elijah Wood, the reason The Toxic Avenger wasn’t released in 2023 was due to the movie’s graphic content, something you see a bit of in this trailer.
