It’s the event Australian UFC fans have been waiting for over a year. Alex Volkanovski gets a chance to reclaim the UFC Featherweight Championship when he meets Diego Lopes in Miami.
The man who beat Volkanovski, Illia Topuira, vacated the title to move up to the Lightweight division. Topuira had one defence of the Featherweight title, beating Max Holloway by knockout.

Pimblett has been fighting his way up the Lightweight ladder, and a win over Chandler will push him to the division’s upper echelon. Chandler was out of action for some time, waiting on a fight with Conor McGregor. He returned against Charles Oliveira in November 2024, losing by unanimous decision.
