As 2024 winds down, so does the WWE channel on Foxtel and Binge as the Sport’s Entertainment Juggernaut gets ready to head over to Netflix.
The entire WWE catalogue has already been removed. If you were like me and going back through old WCW Monday Nitros or ECW Hardcore TV, then I’m sorry you can’t finish that.
When does it all start?
Well, the first episode will premiere on the streaming network on January 6 (January 7 for us Aussies). In the first three months of 2025, a number of past pay-per-views and premium live events will be added.

According to The Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer, there will be no WCW (boo), no Mid-Atlantic and no World Class Championship Wrestling. Select ECW event will be shown (Yay), and Meltzer even said only a few Wrestlemanias will be available to watch (boo again). Some people think everything will eventually be rolled out on Netflix, but we must wait and see.
The first episode of Smackdown airs on December 3 in the US and December 4 in Australia before the premiere of Raw on Netflix. In the US, nothing will change, as Smackdown will still be available on Peacock (the Peacock deal ends in 2026). It may be available on the WWE YouTube Channel in Australia, like in the UK, but we have no official word on how to watch it.
It is certainly an interesting time for WWE fans worldwide as the organisation takes the next steps in the ever-changing media landscape.
